Phish, possibly the prototypical jam band and one of the world's top concert draws, has announced that they are reuniting for shows at the Hampton Coliseum in Virginia March 6-8, the first since they called it quits in 2004.

Tickets are already online at Phish's online ticket thingy, and they go on sale to the public Oct. 18 through Ticketmaster.

In other Phish news, guitarist Trey Anastasio and Classic Tab hit Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel, in Providence, Oct. 21, and bassist Mike Gordon is doing a four-date winter tour that starts at Lupo's Dec. 27. The band's Web site says that more dates will be announced early next year.
