The Songs of Social Justice honors colloquium brought some of the country's most politically committed musicians to the University of Rhode Island in the fall of 2006. Late last year, some of the highlights of the series were released on CD; now, a documentary about the series will air on Rhode Island PBS Sunday at 11 p.m.

Musicians in the series included Tom Paxton, Buffy Saint Marie, Bill Miller, Kim and Reggie Harris, Magpie and Sonny Ochs, Chuck D and Rhode Island's own Joyce Katzberg. The documentary includes discussions and songs from the series.
