TEEN MUSICIAN TALENT SEARCH: SAVE LIVES WITH YOUR TALENT Stop Drunk Driving Now's is currently seeking fifty talented performers and bands to appear on the "Kids Saving Kids" CD Compilation Series. If selected your music will be nationally promoted and marketed to hundreds of thousands of music fans from around the world. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COST TO SUBMIT YOUR MUSIC OR TO APPEAR ON THE CD!!! The Stop Drunk Driving Now National Spokesperson is Becca Levy. Becca, a thirteen year old singer songwriter from Washington D.C., says the following about her involvement.: “What better way to use my music than to save other kids lives? Drunk driving affects everyone regardless of his or her age. I hope you will join me in this fight. Together we can all make a difference.” This unique opportunity for young performers to use their songs to save lives is even more special when you consider that it is FREE for any teenager in the world to download the CD. Whenever anybody goes on the free download page they will be confronted head-on by drunk driving awareness advertising. These public service announcement-type ads have been conceived and created by students from across America. This is a first of its kind project: never before has the free digital downloading of music been used to raise awareness about the great dangers of drunk driving. "The cure for drunk driving is information,” says Becca Levy. This project is a great way to promote my music and change the world…even at my age!” To submit your music for consideration you must submit a MP3 or a WAV file of ONE of your songs. Also include your age, hometown, and YOUR PARENTS’ contact information. • 10:32 AM Christopher on Khan goes for jazz to open Newport festival

I definitley thought Chaka Khan was in her zone. She was pretty powerful for an artist that has been performing worldwide nonstop for over 30yrs. I mean really, who does that? At the same time, she was sweet, feminine, and very modest. For the people comparing her ever-changing versions to the "soundtracks", you need to stop that. Don`t forget, this is ART. It`s on purpose. She could sing the same everytime, but I think to an artist, that could border "Boring". You don`t expect a painter to make every piece exact. I think she is magnificent, and I love her "real" human quality. Go Girl. P.S. If you want to hear her sing hits like "Ain`t nobody", or "I feel for you". Go to one of her performances. This was a Jazz Concert. Keep it Lucid. Thanks

  • 12:43 PM Jaime on Elton John, Billy Joel mix it up at Gillette

This concert was great. Contrary to what you wrote, I thought it was great when Billy Joel added a verse of "dirty water" into "River of Dreams". Everybody in the crowd loved it. I also thought it was great the way Billy Joel interacted with the crowd.

  • 12:19 PM Rick Massimo on Elton John, Billy Joel mix it up at Gillette

Hi Mary, I'm not sure what you mean here. My best guess is that you think I brought up Billy Joel's profanity (of which there definitely was plenty) as a negative criticism of his performance, which it wasn't. Or that the amount of profanity in a show has an effect on whether I like it, which it doesn't. Let me know whether I'm missing your point here. Rick

  • 12:11 PM Mary on Elton John, Billy Joel mix it up at Gillette

My family and I totally enjoyed this show. We were surprised at what great voices both of these musicians still had. Just to clarify, they played for 20 minutes together to start, Elton John played for 1 hr 15 mins, Billy Joel played for 1 hour, and then they finished with 30 minutes together - DEFINITELY GOT OUR MONIES WORTH. I cannot believe you gave the Green Day concert a raving review and then put that you thought Billy Joel used profanity - did you get your reviews mixed up???

  • 4:42 PM Josh on Elton John, Billy Joel mix it up at Gillette

I was at the show on the field and love these two artists greatly... Two things to keep in mind; "It's My Life" is a Bon Jovi song, "My Life" is Billy's. "In the Middle of the Night" is a lyric from the Title song "River of Dreams". I noticed Projo made the same lyrical hiccup last year for the mohegan sun concert. Maybe next time. Otherwise, hope you enjoyed the show Mr. Massimo!

Johhny was my cousin, son of my dads brother, I really wished I could have got to know him better in his musical career, we had a disconnect as we got older. I was sad to hear the news, and only wish that it could have been different, at least he is at peace, and his music will live on through his many fans!!!! Rachael Evitt
